Snake joined the circus

Joker had heard of the freak show near by his own traveling circus and had wanted to see it for himself. But of course, he did not go alone, he brought along Beast, Dagger and Doll. He looked around as he entered the dark tent. The show was like any other circus, there were strange performers and dazzling stunts. "Well that sure was borin' " Joker remarked "I was hopin for somthing more intresting." Beast smirked "Well anything seems boring compared to our circus" Dagger and Doll smiled and nodded in agreement

        Dagger looked around curiously as they walked out of the tent, but he stopped in his tracks, seeing a large crowd of people gathered around a large cage, over the cage was a sign that read Snake Man  "hey.." he tugged on Jokers jacket "what's that over there??" Joker looked over to the cage "Let's check it out... Probabaly a fake though."

              As they got closer, they saw him. The boy in the cage, he couldn't have been more than fifteen. He was extremely thin, and he was had patches of green scales all over his thin body. His hair was a very light green, nearly white, he sat in the cage, looking . Beast scowled "That bastard has a kid locked in a cage like some sort of animal..!" Joker put a hand on Beasts shoulder "Calm down... I know it aint right.." Joker grinned "But we're gonna make it right." Doll looked up at Joker questioningly "What do you mean?" Joker grinned and tossled her hair "You'll see..."

               Joker took them aside, where there were no others "okay here's the plan" he smiled "Beast.. You brought your wip right?" Beast rolled her eyes  "of corse I did. I never go anywhere without it!" Joker grinned "Good, you and Dagger get the man, tie 'im up or somethin', Me an' Doll here'll pic the lock and get the kid outta there.." He smiled softly, he felt bad for the boy in the cage and wanted to get him out as soon as he could.

                Beast and Dagger grinned "Leave it to me and big sis!" dagger said cheerfuly. "Wait 'till after the crowd leaves.. we don't wanna draw attention."

                 Once the crowd had disperced Beast and Dagger made their way over to the ring leader of the circus. He was a short chubby man, Beast was sure she could take him no problem. There was another man however. He was taller and slim, he wore black and red all over and his hair was black and red, it came nearly to his shoulders. He smirked and seemed to disappear into the shadows.

                  Beast took her whip, smirking, Dagger grabbed his knives, within a matter of minutes she had him tied up, Dagger tormenting him by placing his knives to the mans throat. "You're pathetic! Whimpering like a baby." Dagger said, laughing. Meanwhile, Joker and Doll walked over to the cage the snake boy was in. The boy looked scared and he shyed away, going farther back into the cage as they walked over. Joker and Doll could see his whole body tremebling.

                  "Don't worry..." Joker said in a soft voice. "We're here as friends.." he smiled and Doll picked the lock on the cage. Doll smiled as she opened the cage "c'mon... it's okay...I promise.." Joker held his hand out to the boy. The snake boy slowly and weakly he slowly walked forward, stumbling as he tried to step out of the cage. He fell onto joker, his head landing on the other boys chest. Joker caught him swiftly, so he did not fall to the ground.

                   "e-eh...!" the boy blushed deeply and looked frightened as he pulled away from Joker, as if he thought Joker would hit him. Doll looked worried. "it's alright..." said Joker, putting a hand on the small one's shoulder to steady him. The snake boy flinched away, but fell to the ground, whimpering in pain as he hit the ground

                     Joker kneeled by the snake boy, looking concerned, "shh... It's alright... We're here to help you..." Joker gently lifted the Snake boy in his arms, the boy was far too weak to struggle, and he relaxed in Jokers strong arms. "C'mon Doll," he glanced over and Beast and Dagger, who were still tormenting the man. "Let's go home guys."

                     When they returned to the Circus, Joker brought the snake boy to his tent, laying him gently on the bed.
